The Haney Mtn. repeater is now a UHF machine, and that frequency is the former HatCreek Rim Frequency of 444.450 MHz with a PL of 94.8. Please update your programming.

WARREA needs your Help with donations! The equipment is aging and is in need of replacement. Hit the Donate button at the top of the page and give what you can. If you know of a company or organization that might be interested in underwriting or sponsoring a repeater site, please let us know. All donations are tax-deductible.

Redding (RDG) Packet node 145.050 is now part of the WARREA Packet System. The Frequency will remain the same, and the operation will not change. The Node is now operational as of March 2024

(WARREA)

WARREA is a 501(c)3 non-profit, community service organization.

We operate for the good of the Northern California Community at large. Covering the eastern side of Trinity County, all of Shasta County, Tehama County, northern portions of Glenn County, southern Siskiyou County, and parts of western Lassen County. The system is available to First Responders and other emergency communications personnel in the event of a declared emergency. The system is not available to any private organization or individual outside recognized emergency organizations.

Our non-profit organization is a dedicated group of Amateur Radio operators who promote all aspects of amateur radio technology. We are a family-oriented and all-inclusive organization. Husbands and wives can be heard on our repeaters. The organization is not limited to adults, as we also enjoy having young people involved.

Every aspect of amateur radio can be found practiced by some members of WARREA, such as:

FM repeaters
Single Side Band (SSB)
CW (Morse Code)
packet radio
digital modes/em-comm/win-link
satellite
weak signal
contesting and many other aspects of amateur radio.
